This hotel is situated in the heart of the little timbered village of Hallenberg, set into the magical landscape of the Sauerland region and only 15 km from Winterberg. The Sauerland attracts many mountain bikers and hikers, due to its extensive tracks and trails of varying difficulties. In the winter, skiers can look forward to beautiful nearby snowy pistes and there are also many day trip destinations in the area, such as Edersee Lake. Steal some relaxing hours in the 1000m² large Diedrich SPA and enjoy our extensive beauty and spa offers. Since its opening in 1898 this hotel has been family-run by the family Diedrich, who maintain the hotel with a personal and intimate air. At our bar of our cosy beer parlour James Bierladen you can meet some of the locals and relax next to the fireplace. Try a cocktail in our historical vaulted pub "Postkeller". Within the ruins of this building, built in 1898, you can soak up the history and sit long into the night. Our barbecue hut has capacity for up to 70 people.
